Europe: The Culture and Art Lover’s Destination

When you think of going to Europe, you think of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Tower Bridge of London, the Colosseum of Rome, the Trevi Fountain of Italy, and many other iconic spots you hear about and see in movies. While Europe is all that, it’s also so much more with all the other beautiful places you can go to if you spend enough time in the continent. And with its preserved culture, beautiful infrastructure, and open borders, it’s no wonder why out of the top ten most visited countries all over the world; seven are from Europe, welcoming more than 480 million visitors per year.

Because of its open borders, Europe is largely the product of overlapping cultures, with various cultures mixing together, with a little bit of Roman and religious influence. Much of the world around the Europeans, however, have been inspired artistically, owing to classical, realist, surrealist, and other artistic concepts that are recognized all over the world today. Needless to say, the Europeans are lovers of art.

That’s why, aside from their glorious infrastructure, Europe is also known for having grand collections of both classic and contemporary art, such as The Tate in the UK and the Centre Pompidou in France where the works of the likes of Picasso, Matisse, and other famous personalities of European art history are displayed. Some structures are even sought after for their artistic design, such as the Lascaux Cave and the Renaissance inspired city of Florence. You will see signs of art flowing through every street and corner of every city in every country throughout Europe.

On top of all this are all the great festivals and events that you can take part in and great food to try, and friendly people to have a good time with. If you’re looking for a great culture and arts destination, then Europe is definitely the place to go.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_facebook][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_tweetmeme type=”horizontal”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_googleplus][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_basic_grid post_type=”post” max_items=”5″ item=”8253″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1548415806024-7865b2b2-0d84-0″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
